Macau 28-Feb-2009
First time travel in Macau. With a map in hand with small change to get the bus, it is very easy to get around the place. The buses are very cheap and convenient. Casinos are providing free shuttle bus, ask around then you won't have to pay more for the taxi.
The famous uncompleted St. Paul's Church - 大山巴牌坊.

Just beside the ruined church is a ford where the canons lie. A fake ship alike model at the ford.
Aiming at Lisboa Hotel and Casino 葡京酒店, ready to fire....hehehe
All the way to the St Paul's Church, there are plenty of stalls around. Portugese egg tarts can be easily find anywhere, however the size is much smaller than what we usually have.
Another must try is the BBQ meat. Free tasting, great variety.
At the Lisboa Casino Lobby, a 200 carat diamond... bigger than my ear hole.
Wow.. the "Bronze Horse Head of Haiyantang in The Summer Palace" 圆明园海晏堂水力钟马首铜像.
Another new happening place for Casino, hotel, shopping --> The Venetian. This is the 不夜天food court.

He Yuan 河源 14&15-Feb-2009
He Yuan is a town for the Hakka people in China. So, I get to enjoy much of the Hakka delicacies in this trip. The tourism is mostly at the rural area, a big contrast with its happening city.
Deer farm, known to be having about 200 dears at the other side of the mountain which is more remote and suitable for them, and I could only see 3 of them in the information/sales office for deer products. The dears are reared for their staghorn and pilose, and the horn will be cut off every twice a year.
Boat ride at one of the largest man-made lake in China, 万绿湖.
The day was misty, and low water level due to no rainfalls for the past few months.
One of the reason to attract more tourist is the temple that can be accessed by boat.
A visit to the old Hakka Style village house. Part of it had been isolated and only for visits, some parts still occupied by locals.
This is real! Sundried vegetables. Wanna try?
As the Chinese New Year not long ago, still can see the red banners and even some firecrackers around.
They were the master and mistress of the richest person in the village, and the house owner.
A lucky charm arranged by stone.
Guess what is it?
Every night, this water fountain will operate for about half an hour. Beautiful and brings breeze to cool the night.

Performance by the native. Whuah.... can dry the hair while dancing.
The guys performance were more risk taking... like this.. let the fire pass thru the pants.
