Where the Journey begins..
In the morning, we got boiled water to brush teeth for those who cannot get used to the icy cold tap water. The morning is crisp and the air is light.
Common area in the resort. Nice ley....
Checked out from the room and ready to go!
My backpack, the lightest among all, 5kg.
All of us very concentrate when the guide brief about the hike and the route.
To keep moving ahead, every half a kilometer, there is a sign board. Nearly every kilometer also has a hut for rest. Hence, every half a kilometer completed, I will award myself with a photograph session. On average, we took about half an hour to complete half a kilometer. Eventually we split into 2 groups also. Eddie, Kok Hui, Hoo Yin and I are the later group.

Missed the 3km sign due to heavy rain and wearing rain coat is not convenient to take photo.
Helped to carry Kok Hui's backpack as Kok Hui was very sick since the beginning and Hoo Yin got to take care of him as well.
Ouch.. I am like a hunch-back-pregnant lady....
When the clouds cleared, we stopped to enjoy the spectacular view. Frankly, there is not much moment that we can catch nice view as the whole day is quite mistly and foggy due to rains.

So many people having lunch at the same hut, and the hut is very muddy. We end up eating in the rain outside the hut. Got to use the cap to protect the bread so that it will not soak by rain water.
After lunch, Eddie and I move faster, and told Kok Hui and Hoo Yin that we will wait for them at the Simpang, which is about 1.5km ahead.

Here's the Simpang that we promised to wait for the rest. Waited for one hour before we can see the guide who then told us that Kok Hui cannot join us to Laban Rata. We then separate my bag with Kok Hui's, as both of us share the bag carried by the portal. At 4.30pm, we continue our journey.

After the meeting point, the counting starts from 4.5km again. Sigh... still got 2 km to go...

After 2 hours, we reached Laban Rata Resort at 6.30pm. The sky was getting dark. Just in time for the dinner before it closed counter. When Hoo Yin reached, we knew that Kok Hui cannot make it and sent to Hospital immediately. Our Hero Hoo Yin did the job as the portal also to carry our stuff up while the guide carry Kok Hui to Hospital.
Before we sleep, we put on alot of counterpain and took Panadol. The counterpain caused us hard to sleep as our muscle being excited. However, still able to rest the body for a few hours before we get up at 2am tomorrow.
